Tipos de conexi\u00f3n<\/span><\/h2>

En las conexiones de acero conformadas en fr\u00edo generalmente se utilizan soldaduras, pernos, remaches en fr\u00edo, tornillos, sujetadores accionados el\u00e9ctricamente y otros dispositivos especiales, como costuras met\u00e1licas y adhesivos. La especificaci\u00f3n norteamericana AISI contiene disposiciones en el Cap\u00edtulo J para conexiones soldadas, atornilladas, atornilladas y mediante sujetadores accionados el\u00e9ctricamente, que son los m\u00e1s com\u00fanmente utilizados [1]. Pero en la base, las estructuras de acero conformadas en fr\u00edo est\u00e1n compuestas por microestructuras llamadas paneles. Estos paneles se construyen con perfiles individuales conectados entre s\u00ed. En comparaci\u00f3n con los perfiles laminados en caliente, el comportamiento de las uniones de los elementos de acero conformados en fr\u00edo se ve influido por la reducida rigidez de las paredes delgadas. Por lo tanto, los efectos adicionales son, por ejemplo, la inclinaci\u00f3n (Fig.1) del sujetador en el orificio, falla del cojinete bajo la distorsi\u00f3n por corte de la l\u00e1mina cuando el sujetador se carga en tensi\u00f3n y la l\u00e1mina se tira sobre la cabeza del sujetador. Esta es la raz\u00f3n por la que se han desarrollado tecnolog\u00edas espec\u00edficas y procedimientos de dise\u00f1o relacionados, ya sea mediante c\u00e1lculo o c\u00e1lculo asistido por ensayos, para estructuras de acero conformadas en fr\u00edo [2]. Los modos de falla de las conexiones atornilladas en corte son generalmente similares a los de las conexiones atornilladas regulares en acero laminado en caliente. Sin embargo, debido al hecho de que los materiales conectados suelen ser delgados (o al menos una de las partes conectadas es delgada), generalmente no falla por corte. Los posibles modos de fallo son el rodamiento, tracci\u00f3n, desgarro y\/o cizallamiento del material unido mediante tornillos y el trabajo en cizallamiento.<\/p>

Como m\u00e9todo cl\u00e1sico, los perfiles primarios en forma de C con reborde se cruzan con una secci\u00f3n o carril en C sin reborde de ambas alas (Fig.2). Se debe utilizar como m\u00ednimo un tornillo o remache para una brida. En algunos casos, se puede aumentar la cantidad de tornillos cuando se requiere m\u00e1s fuerza. De esta manera, se puede aumentar la resistencia al corte y a la inclinaci\u00f3n.<\/p>
