Des lignes rouge vif parcourent verticalement les murs tous les 16 inches et r\u00e9v\u00e8lent pr\u00e9cis\u00e9ment les zones par lesquelles la chaleur s&#8217;\u00e9chappe. Telle est la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du pont thermique dans les ossatures classiques en acier form\u00e9 \u00e0 froid (CFS), o\u00f9 les montants en acier, fortement conducteurs, offrent \u00e0 la chaleur un raccourci qui contourne l&#8217;isolation de la cavit\u00e9.<\/p><p>Pendant des ann\u00e9es, la solution courante \u00e0 cette perte d&#8217;\u00e9nergie a consist\u00e9 \u00e0 \u00e9paissir l&#8217;enveloppe au moyen de panneaux continus d&#8217;isolation ext\u00e9rieure. Toutefois, \u00e0 mesure que les r\u00e9glementations \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques municipales deviennent plus exigeantes, les ing\u00e9nieurs concepteurs et les constructeurs font face \u00e0 un choix difficile : sacrifier une surface utile pr\u00e9cieuse au profit de syst\u00e8mes muraux plus \u00e9pais ou trouver un moyen d&#8217;augmenter la r\u00e9sistance thermique des \u00e9l\u00e9ments en acier eux-m\u00eames.<\/p><p>C&#8217;est ici qu&#8217;intervient le \u201cmontant thermique\u201d, une cat\u00e9gorie innovante d&#8217;\u00e9l\u00e9ments CFS comportant des perforations en fentes dispos\u00e9es en quinconce et pratiqu\u00e9es directement dans l&#8217;\u00e2me. En pla\u00e7ant physiquement des lames d&#8217;air sur le trajet de l&#8217;\u00e9nergie qui s&#8217;\u00e9chappe, ces \u00e2mes \u00e0 fentes obligent la chaleur \u00e0 suivre un parcours sinueux et tortueux autour des ouvertures.<\/p><p>Les recherches ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 de cette g\u00e9om\u00e9trie pour interrompre le pont thermique. Dans une \u00e9tude de r\u00e9f\u00e9rence sur la physique du b\u00e2timent, la chercheuse Julianna Lipt\u00e1k-V\u00e1radi a mis au point une m\u00e9thode permettant de calculer la \u201cconductivit\u00e9 thermique \u00e9quivalente\u201d des \u00e2mes \u00e0 fentes (Lipt\u00e1k-V\u00e1radi, 2011). Ses r\u00e9sultats ont r\u00e9v\u00e9l\u00e9 que l&#8217;optimisation de la g\u00e9om\u00e9trie des fentes peut r\u00e9duire la conduction thermique le long de l&#8217;\u00e2me de 70% \u00e0 80% par rapport \u00e0 des montants \u00e0 \u00e2me pleine (Lipt\u00e1k-V\u00e1radi, 2011; Sustain-DPL, 2020). En r\u00e9gime permanent, la conductivit\u00e9 thermique \u00e9quivalente d&#8217;une \u00e2me en acier correctement pourvue de fentes peut chuter jusqu&#8217;\u00e0 seulement 8.6% de la conductivit\u00e9 propre de l&#8217;acier massif (Lipt\u00e1k-V\u00e1radi, 2011).<\/p><p>En outre, une \u00e9tude publi\u00e9e en 2023 dans la revue Energies par Zhijian Yang et une \u00e9quipe de sp\u00e9cialistes de l&#8217;enveloppe du b\u00e2timent a d\u00e9montr\u00e9 qu&#8217;un mur CFS utilisant des montants comportant sept rang\u00e9es de fentes r\u00e9duit le coefficient global de transmission thermique du mur de 38.59% par rapport \u00e0 un mur identique \u00e9quip\u00e9 de montants \u00e0 \u00e2me pleine (Yang et al., 2023).<\/p><p>Afin de visualiser l&#8217;incidence de ces variables, le graphique suivant compare la mani\u00e8re dont diff\u00e9rents param\u00e8tres des fentes de l&#8217;\u00e2me et diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9paisseurs d&#8217;acier influent sur la performance thermique globale des syst\u00e8mes muraux en acier form\u00e9 \u00e0 froid :<\/p><p><img Pour garantir la s\u00e9curit\u00e9, ils ont \u00e9labor\u00e9 et valid\u00e9 avec succ\u00e8s des formules modifi\u00e9es de la M\u00e9thode de R\u00e9sistance Directe (DSM), fournissant aux ing\u00e9nieurs les outils math\u00e9matiques n\u00e9cessaires pour pr\u00e9voir la r\u00e9sistance et concevoir les \u00e9l\u00e9ments contre le flambement (Degtyareva &amp; Poologanathan, 2021).<\/p><p>Pour les constructeurs souhaitant mettre en \u0153uvre ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 haute performance, les chercheurs ont d\u00e9termin\u00e9 une conception \u201coptimale\u201d qui maximise l&#8217;efficacit\u00e9 thermique sans compromettre la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 structurelle (Yang et al., 2023) :<\/p><ul><li><strong>\u00c9paisseur du montant:<\/strong> Les profil\u00e9s en acier doivent rester minces, id\u00e9alement entre 1.0 mm et 1.2 mm, car une r\u00e9duction de l&#8217;\u00e9paisseur de 0.5 mm diminue les pertes thermiques du mur de 18.63% (Yang et al., 2023).<\/li><li><strong>Configuration des fentes:<\/strong> Il convient d&#8217;utiliser 5 \u00e0 7 rang\u00e9es de fentes, avec une longueur de 70 mm \u00e0 80 mm et une largeur de 2 mm \u00e0 3 mm (Yang et al., 2023).<\/li><li><strong>Espacement transversal:<\/strong> Un espacement transversal r\u00e9duit de 6 mm \u00e0 10 mm doit \u00eatre maintenu perpendiculairement aux fentes, car des bandes continues d&#8217;acier plus larges aggravent le pont thermique (Yang et al., 2023).<\/li><\/ul><p>En adoptant ces profil\u00e9s \u00e0 fentes con\u00e7us selon des principes d&#8217;ing\u00e9nierie, le secteur de la construction commerciale peut r\u00e9aliser des projets conformes \u00e0 des r\u00e9glementations \u00e9nerg\u00e9tiques strictes tout en pr\u00e9servant l&#8217;int\u00e9grit\u00e9 structurelle caract\u00e9ristique du CFS.<\/p><p><strong>R\u00e9f\u00e9rences<\/strong><\/p><p>NAHB Research Center.
