L'une d'entre elles est la ferme d\u00e9finie dans la norme AISI S240. Ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments de ferme sont connect\u00e9s \u00e0 partir des \u00e2mes de la section. Le deuxi\u00e8me est la connexion \u00e0 partir de leurs ailes. Le premier type de ferme est d\u00e9fini et guid\u00e9 par l'AISI. Cependant, l'autre type de ferme (dans la figure 1) n'est directement d\u00e9fini dans aucune norme. Ferme \u00e0 bride<\/p><h2>Mod\u00e8les structurels<\/h2><p>En raison des techniques de fabrication et des espaces \u00e9troits dans les joints, des excentricit\u00e9s se produisent et cr\u00e9ent des moments de flexion suppl\u00e9mentaires et des effets de second ordre. La norme AISI S240 ne sp\u00e9cifie pas l'utilisation d'un mod\u00e8le d'analyse structurelle \u00e0 n\u0153uds multiples ou uniques pour tenir compte des effets de l'excentricit\u00e9 dans les joints. La rigidit\u00e9 de la ferme diff\u00e8re selon qu'une analyse \u00e0 n\u0153uds multiples ou uniques est effectu\u00e9e. Ferme \u00e0 n\u0153ud unique et ferme \u00e0 deux n\u0153uds<\/p><p>D'apr\u00e8s une \u00e9tude r\u00e9cente sur les fermes \u00e0 semelles par E.Baran et C.Dizdar, cette excentricit\u00e9 diminue la rigidit\u00e9 de la ferme. Cependant, si quatre vis ou plus sont utilis\u00e9es dans les joints, aucune diff\u00e9rence significative n'est observ\u00e9e en termes de rigidit\u00e9 \u00e0 des charges de faible niveau. Par exemple, le mod\u00e8le structurel peut \u00eatre construit avec un seul n\u0153ud, mais il peut \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour des poutrelles de plancher jusqu'\u00e0 5 ou 6 m\u00e8tres de port\u00e9e libre dans les b\u00e2timents r\u00e9sidentiels. R\u00e9sultats du test de ferme de type \u00e0 bride utilisant une forme en C dont l'\u00e9paisseur est de 1,2 mm<\/p><p>De plus, il existe une autre d\u00e9formation dans les joints. Les membrures sont soumises \u00e0 une d\u00e9coupe des l\u00e8vres dans les joints, ce qui supprime la partie de la l\u00e8vre de la section et les diagonales peuvent s'ins\u00e9rer \u00e0 l'int\u00e9rieur des membrures. Cette op\u00e9ration entra\u00eene naturellement une r\u00e9duction de la r\u00e9sistance des membrures. Cependant, cette op\u00e9ration est appliqu\u00e9e localement et cr\u00e9e un m\u00e9canisme plus compliqu\u00e9 dans les assemblages. Le contr\u00f4le de la r\u00e9sistance peut \u00eatre effectu\u00e9 \u00e0 l'aide de la formule AISI S100 H1-2-1 avec une membrure \u00e0 l\u00e8vres en utilisant un minimum de 4 vis.
