Nie s\u0105 one jednak jedynym parametrem, kt\u00f3ry definiuje wymiary fundamentu. Warunki klimatyczne i spos\u00f3b aplikacji by\u0142yby kolejnym parametrem.<\/p><p>Je\u015bli region jest nara\u017cony na temperatur\u0119 poni\u017cej ujemnych stopni, fundament powinien by\u0107 zaprojektowany jako fundament konstrukcyjny. Ze wzgl\u0119du na nisk\u0105 temperatur\u0119 beton mo\u017ce zamarzn\u0105\u0107 i doprowadzi\u0107 do potencjalnych p\u0119kni\u0119\u0107. Wi\u0119kszo\u015b\u0107 przepis\u00f3w konstrukcyjnych definiuje g\u0142\u0119boko\u015b\u0107 poni\u017cej wyr\u00f3wnanego gruntu, aby chroni\u0107 podstaw\u0119 fundamentu przed zimnem. Opr\u00f3cz g\u0142\u0119boko\u015bci p\u0142yty betonowej, w wi\u0119kszo\u015bci przypadk\u00f3w wymagana jest r\u00f3wnie\u017c izolacja przed zimnem, a przyk\u0142adowy rysunek przekroju przedstawiono na rysunku 1. Fundament konstrukcyjny mo\u017ce by\u0107 stosowany w ka\u017cdych warunkach, w tym w regionach o ekstremalnie niskich temperaturach. Elementy pionowe i poziome s\u0105 od siebie oddzielone i w wi\u0119kszo\u015bci przypadk\u00f3w maj\u0105 r\u00f3\u017cne wysoko\u015bci. Ten typ fundamentu mo\u017ce by\u0107 bardziej op\u0142acalny, je\u015bli we\u017amie si\u0119 pod uwag\u0119 nast\u0119puj\u0105ce kwestie:<\/p><p>\u2013 Cieplejszy klimat. W cieplejszych klimatach, gdzie linie przymrozk\u00f3w s\u0105 niskie.<\/p><p>\u2013 Brak instalacji wodno-kanalizacyjnej i rur pod fundamentem.<\/p><p>\u2013 Brak piwnicy w planach architektonicznych.<\/p><p>Grubo\u015b\u0107 fundamentu mo\u017cna obliczy\u0107 zgodnie z kodami projektowymi. Jednak grubo\u015b\u0107 p\u0142yty mo\u017ce si\u0119 r\u00f3\u017cni\u0107 w zale\u017cno\u015bci od po\u0142o\u017cenia \u015bcian konstrukcyjnych i obci\u0105\u017ce\u0144.<\/p><p>Fundamenty p\u0142ytowe s\u0105 \u0142atwe w u\u017cyciu; jednak ochrona fundamentu przed zimnem mo\u017ce by\u0107 trudna. ASCE 32-01 zawiera szczeg\u00f3\u0142owe informacje na temat ochrony (rysunek 2). Opr\u00f3cz ochrony fundamentu przed zamarzaniem, projektant tego typu fundamentu musi si\u0119 zmierzy\u0107 z innymi mo\u017cliwymi problemami. Wylewanie betonu na grunt bezpo\u015brednio, bez \u017cadnego deskowania, przez cz\u0142owieka mo\u017ce powodowa\u0107 pewne b\u0142\u0119dy w grubo\u015bci betonu, co z czasem prowadzi do osiadania gruntu. Innym problemem jest zalewanie.
